About

Rhett Aultman and Amy Hale are two urban professionals living in South Florida.  Each of them has had an interest in green politics, environmentalism, and sustainable development, but neither of them had really figured out what they could be doing to be part of the solution.  So many books and talking heads advocate a model of rural self-sustainable living which is so heavily contrary to the lives and careers of so many!  Rhett and Amy have had enough, though, and with Global Warming and Peak Oil on their minds, they’ve decided that “every bit counts” is a good slogan and are taking it on themselves to green their modern lives bit by bit.

Greentime is part of their shared project in learning to live more sustainably.  Every week, Rhett and Amy will be giving a little peek into their lives…what they’re doing, thinking, reading, and talking about.  Every week, they’ll be getting a little more green and encouraging others to join them.  A happier and more sustainable life is their goal, and their hope is to get the whole community involved in this tottering, not always well-charted, path to a better world and a better tomorrow.

We hope you will join us.
