Scores for the First 20 Episodes
We’ve each filled out separate score cards for the experiments in the first 20 episodes. Everything is graded on three values– how effective we were in getting results, how green we perceive the project is, and how well we think it works in our daily lives. It’s really interesting to look at them because you can see both how much our lives overlap in common scores and where our lives differ and result in different scores. No two paths to greenness are the same, and it shows up in results like these. A low score on a project doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad idea. It just means it didn’t work for us in one way or another. And now…the scores…

It’s worth mentioning that our “top three” and “bottom three” were subjective choices and, in some cases, a lower-scoring item didn’t make the video. We don’t each weight the three categories the same way in our minds. Still, it’s a really interesting snapshot of our first eight months and shows the trials, successes, and shortcomings of the Little Green Apartment That Could, including our attempts at adapting concepts from various philosophies of green living to make something truly ours.
We’d like to thank everyone who’s watched through these first 20 episodes, and we can’t wait to do this again on the next 20.
